So here's the story behind this year's Halloween costume: I love the rich jewel tones and vintage-inspired looks that Gucci's Frida Giannini sent down the runway in Milan. The sheer chiffon maxi skirts are to die for. But, since I can't exactly roll up to class on Monday morning wearing a sheer maxi skirt on this preppy campus, I needed an excuse to make one. Enter Halloween and DIY costume inspiration #2:

Thus, I decided to be a sheer maxi skirt wearing femme fatale.
