Coachella Style

I am not a bohemian princess by any stretch of the imagination, but even I am intrigued by the fashion that was spotted this past weekend at the Coachella Music Festival in Palm Springs, California.  While some of the festival-goers' style was simply too outlandish for my taste, some had the perfect balance of laid-back and edgy.

Now for the big question: how does a lady like me, who is more interested in classic, feminine  silhouettes and high heels than denim cut-offs and moccasins, pull off this look?  Here's a look at my top picks for mastering the hipster-chic festival look:

By sticking with neutral colors and simple shapes, eccentric bohemian style becomes wearable.  The addition of texture via the lace corset, suede boots, and studded cuff adds intrigue to an otherwise simplistic take on festival fashion.
