What's up the with draped jacket trend?

Are these jet-setters and style-setters too busy to 

take a moment to insert their arms into their sleeves?

Au contraire!  These clever ladies have devised a solution to managing the erratic weather that has plagued the East Coast this spring winter.  It's too warm to wear a winter jacket but too cold to leave the house in just your sweater, so simply drape your jacket over your shoulders for a nice compromise.
